Of course, time can eventually take its toll on everything and the day may come when your well-loved Bridgecraft or Vale sofa, chair or suite could do with a new lease of life. Our complete re-upholstery service means you can opt to restore your furniture as closely as possible (fabric range allowing) to your original look, or take the opportunity to enjoy a new colour or fabric style.

How it works
Send us details of your suite (if known) – model, size (4, 3 or 2 seater in the case of sofas). And please take photographs, showing the full front of all the items you are interested in having re-upholstered. Contact our main number 01422 885000 for a quote or to arrange an appointment at your nearest Show Centre. Our Show Centre staff will provide practical, no-obligation advice and you will be able to view our entire range of fabrics, many of them made exclusively for us.
If you love the style, shape and size of your furniture, then why change? We may be able to restore its original look, but you could also be tempted by the truly enormous range of fabrics we now offer. The leading international mills that we use for fabrics are always adding new colours and designs, so there will be more to choose from than ever before. The entire re-upholstery process will be managed by us, from collection of your old furniture through all the restoration and re-covering work, quality checking and reinstatement of the 25-year frame and springing guarantee. Once completed we will provide careful delivery back to your home.
Our unique process
Inspection and preparation
All the original layers of fabric, cushioning, lining and webbing will be carefully removed. Each piece is inspected in detail by our team of master upholsterers. All internal parts including joints & springs are thoroughly tested to ensure the finished product will perform as it did when first purchased and, if necessary, replaced or re-fixed.
Re-upholster
The furniture will be recreated in layers of new padding, webbing, lining and cushioning and your chosen fabric will be hand tailored to perfection. We offer the same choice of luxury fabrics as we do for our new products, so you will be guaranteed the widest choice. NOTE: All the replacement materials will comply with current British flammability safety regulations.
Return
Before being dispatched every re-upholstered piece is inspected with the same diligence we apply to our new products. Your restored sofa, chair or suite is then delivered by us, back to its rightful place, in your home
