Having bought 2 settees and 2 recliner chairs 7 years ago and encountered a problem with a recliner last week I was not hopeful of a solution after all this time. However, I was delighted to learn that I could still get parts and they arrived overnight with fitting instructions. I was so impressed with the service from Loraine on behalf of the company and would like to commend you. Unfortunately is suddenly stopped working and we had no idea where it originated from. Local mobility stores and specialist furniture shops couldn’t help us and had no idea of where to purchase spare parts or accessories . Luckily google came up trumps and I came across Vale Bridgecraft . I received a response to my email within an hour, confirming the chair was one of theirs . Unfortunately it was out of warranty but Jonathan was able to determine the problem and supplied the relevant parts the very next day and offered telephone assistance with the fitting if required - outstanding service.

We’ve just taken delivery of our third Vale Bridgecraft suite a Sorrento/Modena combination following a Capri suite which preceded a Milan suite. We had the chance to visit your Gateshead showroom with its wide choice of styles, dazzling array of materials and a patient Sarah who offered assistance and advice while we chose, re-chose and chose again from the many examples on show. Today it arrived and was very carefully and efficiently delivered in its protective coverings. Obviously we don’t know who upholstered the sofa and chairs but the pattern matching is millimetre perfect and he or she is a master/mistress of the trade; it’s why we choose your products. Of course we could buy cheaper but we haven’t found anything that matches your quality and customer service from start to finish. You’re a true example of British craftsmanship at its best. Well done (again).

Following a visit to our Sheffield Show Centre and a subsequent purchase we were pleased to receive a letter that said, "The lady who looked after us was very welcoming and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we did enjoy the welcoming cup of tea and biscuits." Dear Sir/Madam, My wife and I would like to thank you and your company for the suite we have recently purchased from yourselves and the excellent service we have had from Eunice at your Felsted Business Centre in Essex. We needed a new lounge suite and decided to visit your Felsted showroom, having seen your advertisement in Essex Life, just to get an idea on styles, fabrics and price. From the moment we entered your showroom Eunice was so helpful in helping us to select a suite its fabric its colour without being pushing to obtaining a sale. With her suggestion we came back 2 weeks later we returned to the showroom with samples of our existing curtains, carpet and wall paper. With Eunice's help we decided our choice of suite and promptly placed our order. Eunice told us that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for it to be manufactured. To our delight 'Choice Homes' in Brentwood informed us 4 weeks after placing the order that the suite was now ready for delivery. Again, the staff at Choice Homes were most friendly and helpful. We all know when we spend a large sum of money on something that we hope it is going to be right, in this case colour, size and material. Well, the suite arrived on the date and time promised and we can say that it is absolutely beautiful, the size, colour and most of all the way it has been made. We must commend your company on the exact way the material pattern has been matched in its manufacture. For these reasons we had to send you this email to thank you and especially Eunice for the perfect suite.

My mother bought our Bridgecraft 3 pc, from Blackburn C0-0P in 1963, and although we have had it recovered twice, it is still going strong. I'm 77 now and wonder who to leave it to in my will. Well done Bridgecraft (25 year guarantee, No problem). Many thanks.

Having recently seen an advert in the Telegraph Magazine, I am prompted to write and tell you to say that my wife and I purchased a Bridgecraft Sofa and two armchairs FIFTY years ago. When we made the purchase, at Bainbridges in Newcastle, we had our two year old daughter with us and the salesman said ‘You will still have this suite when she is eighteen’, he certainly under-estimated the life and quality of a Bridgecraft frame!
